Finding the right command

Use contextual help to find an action suited to your current situation. Read a command's purpose before using it, especially when it confirms a connection or changes an ongoing task.

Start with private help

Enter /help to see the topics available to you. The reply is private and depends on your current situation. A topic missing from the list is not a way to unlock an activity by guessing its name. An unknown or unavailable topic returns the available list.

Topic What it helps with
/help account Your connection and language choice
/help character Waiting for a character or reopening a stalled character step when relevant
/help chat Nearby speech, actions and visible details
/help people Another person's menu, introductions and personal voice controls
/help work Parcel collection, delivery and unpaid return
/help money Belongings, balance and money offers when available
/help trade Region-chart offers and player item trade when available
/help materials Brushwood collection and sale
/help craft Charcoal production, batches and sale

Use /language to discover the available languages. Choosing one changes the help you read, not your world, ownership or role.

Entry and connection

Command Use it for
/link Obtain your own connection code
/link-status Check the request for that connection
/link-confirm Explicitly approve your own intended connection
/link-reject Reject an unexpected or unfamiliar request
/character-retry Recheck character loading or a missing creation step when it is offered

Follow your account guide, keep the code private and read the request before confirming. Reopening a character step is not permission to submit a different creation while its first outcome is uncertain.

Default action keys

Control Context
E Interact with the nearby indicated point or an aimed nearby person
F3 or /factions Open your groups and available group actions
F4 Deliberately reopen character creation when that step is available
F5 Nearby charcoal work or its buyer
F6 Nearby parcel work
F7 or /balance Open Belongings, or request a private balance reply
F8 The nearby region-chart offer
F10 Nearby brushwood collection or its buyer

These are defaults for the described actions. Being far from the relevant point, waiting for an outcome or being unable to act changes what is available. Pressing an action key repeatedly does not speed up a result.

Conversation and special actions

Ordinary text speaks to people nearby. /me describes your action; /do describes an observable detail. /introduce, /introduce reply and /introduce decline provide alternatives to the voluntary introduction menu. See communication for examples and consent.

/craft-stop stops future production in a batch; wait for any outcome already due. /supply at the supply recipient opens or rechecks the supply action. /property at a property's service point opens its information. /recover is for a character who has been told they need a healer, not a general travel command.

In the other person's radial menu, point towards an action and click, or use arrows and Enter. Tab changes focus; Esc closes the menu. Closing a window does not necessarily cancel an already accepted action. Check the relevant guide before assuming that it does.
