Charcoal from brushwood

Turn brushwood into charcoal, follow your practice and choose where to offer the finished sacks. Check inputs, recipe and buyer terms before committing your goods.
Prepare the brushwood
Gather two brushwood bundles and check them in Belongings (F7). See the materials guide for gathering instructions.
One sack of charcoal requires two bundles. Check that your belongings have enough room for the result.
Production is your choice: you can also sell brushwood directly or offer it to another player. You do not need the region chart to make charcoal.
Make charcoal
Approach the marked charcoal-making point. Open the interaction with E by default, or press F5 nearby. If a recipe choice appears, choose ordinary or selected charcoal and check the terms for that work. Choose one sack or a sequence of up to four if you have enough brushwood.
Stay nearby until the work finishes. Each sack takes its own full production time and two bundles. Moving away or dying stops further work. Remaining sacks do not start automatically when you return to the game. Closing the dialogue before confirmation does not start production.
After confirming, wait for the outcome. If the reply is delayed, do not start the same production again. Check the charcoal sack and remaining brushwood in F7: each completed sack consumes two bundles.
Enter /craft-stop to stop further production. If an outcome is already pending, wait for the reply: stopping does not cancel a completed sack. Finished sacks remain yours; choose to start again if you want to continue later.
A started sequence keeps its selected recipe until completion or stopping. To change recipes, finish the current work or stop it and wait for the outcome first.
The work offer and buyer dialogue show how many batches you have completed with this recipe. This count remains after selling the charcoal and returning to the game.
Skill practice
Successful production may grant experience in the skill associated with this recipe. The guidance shows its level, accumulated experience and the amount remaining to the next level, or indicates that the maximum has been reached.
Experience is awarded for completed production. Selling a finished sack or checking the same outcome again does not grant extra experience. Your accumulated experience and level remain when you return to the game.
Practice making ordinary charcoal to reach the level required for selected charcoal. Check the required level and remaining experience in the guidance; until you meet the requirement, keep practising an available recipe.

Compare progress before choosing a recipe
| Information | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Completed batches | See how often you finished this recipe, even if its output was sold |
| Skill level and experience | Follow the named skill rather than assume every craft develops it |
| Remaining experience | Judge the next skill step without guessing a fixed number of sacks |
| Recipe requirement | Choose an eligible recipe; a higher level does not provide its materials |
For example, selling the last sack can leave no charcoal in your belongings while your completed batches and experience remain. That is different from a lost skill. A repeated outcome check also does not count as new practice.
Finished goods can be sold, offered to another player or brought to a suitable town order. Check the recipient's current terms before committing the same sack to one of those paths.
Sell the sack
Follow the journal marker to the materials buyer. Open the offer nearby with E or F5. If a recipe choice appears, select the type of charcoal you want to sell again: the offer covers only a sack of that output. Check the price and confirm the sale.
The buyer's funds are limited. If they cannot pay, you keep the charcoal and can try selling it later. Wait for the sale outcome before repeating the action, then check your belongings and balance with F7.
Use /help craft for the available production and selling actions.
