Returning after defeat

A healer bandages a traveller?s arm in a quiet infirmary.

After defeat, wait for your condition to be checked and follow the healer-return instruction. Continue with the same character and recheck any unfinished affairs.

Wait for your condition

After defeat, wait for the message about your condition. Being unable to move while it is checked is not an invitation to create a replacement character or arrange another transaction.

When the message says you need a healer, enter /recover to request a return to the infirmary. Wait while the return is prepared. Repeating the command does not make the journey faster.

Continue with the same character

The return keeps your character's name and skills. Defeat is not permanent character death. Once you can act again, check your location, journal and belongings before deciding what to do next.

An interrupted activity is not automatically a completed one. For example, charcoal that had not finished is different from a completed sack, and an active parcel task is different from a paid delivery. Read the relevant work or crafting guidance before resuming.

If you leave before returning

After reconnecting and confirming your connection again, wait for the condition check. If a healer return is still needed, follow that instruction with the same character. Leaving the game does not itself resolve defeat.

If the condition or return cannot be checked, wait for a clear result rather than repeatedly starting actions. For help, describe the message and what happened without sharing a connection code.

Recheck unfinished affairs

Do not assume a payment, item sale or group action failed merely because defeat interrupted its display. Check the original outcome and your money and belongings before repeating it. A return to the infirmary is not confirmation that every pending affair was cancelled.
