Activities and progression

Choose a useful activity, understand its result and decide what to do next. Work, practice, trade and relationships offer different kinds of progress.
Parcel delivery
Choose a path by what you want to do, not by a compulsory profession ladder.
| Goal | Guide | Result to check |
|---|---|---|
| Earn through a delivery | Parcel work | One completed assignment and its payment |
| Understand what you own | Money and belongings | Current balance, quantity and condition |
| Decide about terrain reveal | Region chart | Personal ownership and an informed purchase choice |
| Make goods and practise | Charcoal production | Completed sacks, inputs used and skill progress |
| Contribute goods | Town supply and shared goals | Accepted goods and your contribution |
| Build relationships | Communication and groups | Voluntary introductions or membership |
| Choose a longer-term role | Skills and roles | Practice, work and social responsibility kept distinct |
| Arrange a shared journey | Travel and transport | Route, cargo and agreed responsibilities |
| Take part in town life | Gatherings and events | A clear invitation and room for different participation |
| Understand a serious dispute | Law and conflict | IC responsibilities separate from OOC moderation |
At the parcel collection point, press F6 to ask about deliveries. Before accepting a task, check its destination and payment. Task availability depends on parcels and funds for payment being available; the introductory orientation is not a requirement for work.
The task involves collecting the assigned parcel in your hands and handing it over at the delivery point. To cancel, return to the original collection point and separately confirm an unpaid return. Closing the dialogue alone does not cancel the task.
If a delivery remains active after you return to the game but the parcel is not in your hands, collection of the same parcel at the original point is provided. Your hands must be free. This continues the task rather than granting another parcel or payment.
When you return, check the task's status. If it has been cancelled, do not try to hand over the previous parcel; ask about available deliveries again.
Belongings and balance
After completing a delivery, payment goes to your character's balance. Open Belongings with F7 to view the balance and items: quantity, condition and weight. All, Deliveries and Other categories help you find an item.
Use this panel to check your earnings and inspect your belongings. To make a purchase, visit the seller.
Check when the records were received. During loading or temporary unavailability, previously displayed records may be out of date; this does not mean lost items or a zero balance. An empty category does not mean there are no other belongings.
A first purchase
Near the parcel collection point, F8 opens the offer for a chart of the Kuttenberg region. Check price, remaining stock, condition and weight. Stock is limited, with one chart per character.
After a completed delivery, the journal may point to the chart offer if a chart is available and you have enough money. If funds are short, it may suggest earning more when another delivery is available. These suggestions do not guarantee work or goods: guidance may be absent while records load, during temporary unavailability or when charts are sold out. If you already own the chart, this part of the introduction is complete.
Confirm once and wait for the outcome. A delayed belongings update does not mean the purchase failed. You can check the chart and your remaining funds in the Belongings panel; the chart is under Other.
The chart reveals the region's terrain without naming undiscovered places. This reveal cannot be undone in the current game. Selling, transferring and returning the chart are not provided.
Your next path
Gathering and selling brushwood means collecting a bundle and offering it to a separate buyer. Selling depends on the buyer's funds; having goods does not guarantee immediate payment.
Two bundles can be used to make a sack of charcoal for later sale. Before confirming, check the materials required; at the buyer, check the price and whether payment is available.
After completing a delivery and acquiring the chart, the journal may suggest gathering brushwood when supplies and carrying space are available, then making charcoal from two bundles. Guidance may be absent while your belongings are being checked or an action is awaiting its result. Buying the chart is not required for gathering or production; suggestions neither grant rewards nor unlock activities.
Choose how to use your materials: sell the brushwood directly, make charcoal or offer goods to another player. Neither buyer consent nor payment is guaranteed. After production, the journal marker helps you find the buyer but does not promise they have enough funds.
Distinguish different kinds of progress
Money can pay for an available offer. Craft practice develops the skill named by that recipe. A supplied item contributes to its order, and membership gives only the responsibilities of its group role. One does not automatically grant the others: selling charcoal does not appoint an officer, and buying a chart does not unlock a craft.
For longer-term affairs, read property and keys and lands and stewardship. A title belongs to a defined responsibility, not authority over players. If defeat interrupts a session, use returning after defeat and recheck unfinished work before continuing.
